What’s WIAPS?
WIAPS is the largest approved contractor scheme in the UK and is run by Water Regs UK for many of the country’s water companies. It gives accreditation to qualified plumbers and other sector workers, including groundworkers.

Using an approved plumber is the best way of making sure you get high-quality work done, in line with Water Regulations. Like WaterMark you will be able to find WIAPS approved members on the WaterSafe.org.uk website.
From April 2025, we’ll be moving over to a new scheme - WIAPS that will help finding a locally approved plumber easier.
