Ongoing Repair Works In Stratford-Upon-Avon

We would like to make you aware that due to emergency works from ourselves and other utilities companies, the repair for the burst pipe on Alcester Road could not take place on the 20th November.

Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.

We want to get this resolved for you and we’re planning to attend Wednesday 27th November. However, this is subject to change, which is dependent on circumstances on the day.

We’re working closely with the council to stick to this date. Should any emergency works come in, from either ourselves or other utility companies this could change.

During these works there will be five-way traffic lights in place. Whilst we have the traffic management set up, we are also going to be re-tarmacking our previous repairs in a nearby location to avoid any further disruption. 

Once the leak is repaired, we will be back out to renew the valves.

These cannot be completed at the same time due to the distance between their location and this repair.

We want to thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding. 

Unfortunately, we had some complications last night where we came across concrete with multiple electric cables and gas mains running through.

This has massively slowed down the dig and we’ve had to dig to the side. We’re sending a team back first thing in the morning to continue with the works.

Following on from our previous update, we have encountered challenges locating the leak on Alcester Road due to numerous utilities in the concrete.

Our team is continuing investigations to pinpoint the leak.
