Make a leakage allowance claim

In order to complete this form, the leak must be repaired and you must be able to read your meter.

If you're unable to read your meter, contact us and we will arrange this for you.

You can only make one leakage allowance claim, so we recommend you only use it if you have a large leak to claim back. If you have already made a claim at your current home, any other claims you make for that address will be rejected.

If you make a claim and then move house in the future, you'll be able to make one new claim at your new home. You can only make one claim per property.

After your leak has been fixed, we can re-calculate your bill for the time you had the leak based on the amount of water you use without it.

In order to do this, we need two meter readings taken two weeks apart after the leak has been fixed.

We only need the black numbers on your meter. If your meter is digital, we'll only need the numbers before the decimal point.

You understand that the leakage allowance will cover up to 12 months or up to two bills, which ever is longer. This means that depending on how long the leak was present, we may not be able to cover the whole period of the leak and any additional costs associated with the leak outside of the period covered by the leakage allowance is payable.
