We are continuing to work with Cadent Gas and will be supporting them and our customers in the Basford/Highbury Vale area this evening and tomorrow, while repairs to the gas network are carried out and customers are put back on supply.
It comes after water found its way into the network overnight following a leak, which was quickly repaired. It is estimated that around 100 properties in the area have been affected, and engineers have been on site today, removing the water.
We want to thank customers for their patience and understanding while we work with Cadent Gas to resolve the situation. We will continue to speak directly to those customers impacted over the coming days.
