How you can collect Nectar points by saving water
Thank you for being a part of our scheme to help households save water - and reward them for doing it.
It’s quite simple. If you use less water, you’ll get Nectar points that you can use in loads of places - from your weekly shop to the trip of a lifetime.

Your water-saving target
We’ll need to work out a water-saving target for you, and we’ll do this by looking at how much your home is using at the moment.
When you first sign up, we’ll look at how much you’ve used over the last four weeks and work out an average weekly amount.
Your target will be to use 3% less than this over the following week.
Example
Severn Trent customer Jasmine signs up to collect Nectar points.
Over the last four weeks, Jasmine’s used just over 261 litres a week, on average
Jasmine’s target for the next week is to use 3% less – 253 litres.
Extra rewards for regular water savers
If you keep on saving, the rewards pile up. When you first join, you’ll start in the Bronze tier. If you beat your target in the first week, you’ll then move up a tier into Silver.

And then if you keep beating your target, you’ll keep moving up the tiers meaning you’ll get more points. However, if you miss a week’s target, you’ll start back again at Bronze level. All the more reason to keep an eye on your home’s water use.
