Pay a visit to Severn Trent’s Tittesworth Water and discover what other attractions can be found in the Staffordshire region for all the family to enjoy. 

Tittesworth Water can be found in Staffordshire, near the border of Derbyshire and Cheshire on the edge of the spectacular Peak District National Park, offering plenty for the whole family to enjoy. 

The site has four walking routes, is a haven for wildlife and perfect for twitchers looking for a bit of birdwatching, plus a wide range of watersports are available at Tittesworth Water Sports and Activity Centre. 

But those looking to take in Tittesworth and see what else the region has to offer are in for a treat with plenty of attractions to enjoy. 

Staffordshire not only boasts Tittesworth Water, but also several other attractions including Lyme Valley Parkway, which has been supported by the Severn Trent Community Fund, National Forest Adventure Farm, Biddulph Grange Garden, Kinver Edge and the Rock House, along with museums, gardens, parks and much more for everyone to explore. 

Donna Marshall, Visitor Engagement Manager at Severn Trent, said: “Tittesworth Water is a place for everyone to enjoy, whether that’s a family looking for a day out, wildlife enthusiasts or those looking for a bit of exercise and some fresh air. 

“But there are a whole host of other attractions throughout Staffordshire and surrounding areas, including more Severn Trent visitor sites, so now is the chance to get exploring, explore the great outdoors and see what is on offer.” 

First constructed in 1858, the water from the reservoir supplies homes and businesses in parts of the Staffordshire Moorlands, Stoke-on-Trent and Leek.  

There are four marked routes around the reservoir offering the perfect surroundings. Choose from the shorter 1.5-mile route or the longer five-mile full circular route of the reservoir which has stunning views of The Roaches.
