Egg-citing adventures to be had at Severn Trent’s visitor sites

Friday 4th April 2025

Carsington, Draycote and Tittesworth Water are calling on all young adventurers to get their walking boots on as they get set to open their Easter trails.

Opening on Saturday 5th April for Carsington and Tittesworth, and Saturday 12th April for Draycote, the Easter trails give young ones and their families the chance to explore the reservoirs, finding eggs along the way and answering questions before returning to the Visitor Centre to claim their egg-straordinary prize.

The trails are open from 10am to 4pm every day and will run for two weeks. The trails are accessible and pushchair friendly, making it fun for the whole family.

Once visitors have completed the trails, they can spend time at the reservoir restaurants, mess around in the kids’ playground or spot some of the wildlife the call our reservoirs home.

Donna Marshall, Visitor Engagement Manager at Severn Trent said: “Our Easter trails make for great days out for the family, it offers hours of entertainment and children can explore their inquisitive side while being out in nature.

“Aside from the trail, there is so much more that our reservoirs offer, from long walks to nature spotting and a fantastic play area, you really can get lost in it all.”

Families can pick up a trail sheet for £4 from the cafe in the Visitor Centre with no pre-booking required, simply turn up on the day.

Severn Trent’s visitor sites host a number of different events all year round, from running festivals through to artisan markets and other seasonal activities for all the family.
