Severn Trent offering customers money-saving tips in Much Wenlock pop-up
Monday 13 May 2024
Severn Trent staff will be offering handy water and money-saving tips to the public during two pop-ups at the Corn Exchange in Much Wenlock this week.
Staff will be on hand with information on support schemes, money saving tips, and they will also have free water-themed children’s books.
The pop-ups will run from 8am-4pm on Wednesday 15 May, and Thursday 16 May at the Corn Exchange located on High Street.
Details on where to get free water saving devices, such as shower timers and slow-release garden water gels will also be available.
David Cork, Community Engagement Manager at Severn Trent, said: “Earlier this month we were on hand in Oswestry engaging with our customers and answering any Severn Trent related questions they had – from money saving tips to help with bills. We had some great discussions giving out some really useful advice so we’re delighted to be out and about in Shropshire again, this time in Much Wenlock.
“So please come and see us at the Corn Exchange this week with any questions or issues you may have and grab yourself some free goodies – we look forward to seeing you.”
Severn Trent recently announced that it will invest over £250m on its storm overflows to improve river health in Shropshire, as well as unveiling a £12.9bn five-year investment plan last autumn to also improve river quality, cut leaks, create thousands of jobs, and secure water supplies.
