Severn Trent Trust Fund raising money for WaterAid to mark 20th Anniversary
Monday 26th February
The Severn Trent Trust Fund is to hold a special fundraising event for WaterAid in Birmingham on Tuesday (27 February).
The fundraiser aims to raise at least £5,000 which will go towards the Severn Trent Trust Fund’s 20th Anniversary target to raise £20,000 in total by April 2018 for WaterAid.
The ‘jailbreak’ event will see fundraisers collecting donations to secure their release from a cell at West Midlands Heritage Police Station, formerly Steelhouse Lane.
Tony Ballance, Director of Strategy and Regulation at Severn Trent and Mark Abrams, CEO of Auriga Services, will be taking part.
Tony said: “This is a great opportunity to raise lots of money for WaterAid that will help the world’s poorest communities transform their lives with clean water and basic sanitation. I’m really looking forward to taking part and collecting as many donations as possible for such a brilliant cause.”
This year marks Severn Trent Trust Fund’s 20th Anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, the fund is aiming to raise more than £20,000 for WaterAid by taking part in a series of charity challenges.
