We have teams across the region prepared and ready for the severe weather forecasted for this weekend.

We’re aware that there may be snow and colder temperatures on the way in the Midlands, and in Shropshire, Staffordshire and parts of Derbyshire in particular, so we’re committed to making sure that our customers continue getting the best possible service.

Winter contingency plans have been put into action, with extra people on hand in our control centre and call centre to handle incidents and customer enquiries.  We’ve also gone above and beyond our normal preparations, making sure that we have extra power generators for the areas with the worst forecasts and extra supplies in case we need them.

We really hope that this bad weather doesn’t bring any issues for our customers but, if it does, then be assured that we’ll be on hand and ready to help with any difficult situations.  If there are any problems, we’ll get them sorted as quickly as we can.
