We're investing in new water pipes for Chester
We're investing £115,000 to replace old and tired water pipes in the Bache Drive area of Chester.
We will begin renewing pipes at the start of February to make sure that our customers in the area can enjoy a reliable water supply for years to come.
Catherine Webb, Community Communications Officer on the project said; “The work we’re doing in Chester is vital in order for us to provide the best possible service
for our customers. Renewing our water pipes means there will be far less chance of pipes bursting and customers in and around the area will benefit from a more reliable water supply.
“We know that the people who know the area best are the local community and so we’d like to invite them to a drop in session on 31 January (2020) from 4pm to 7pm at Upton by Chester United Reformed Church Hall, 44 Heath Road, Upton Chester, CH2 1HX. There they can hear all about the plans and the benefits the investment will bring and ask our team any questions they may have.
“We understand that once we start, our work may cause some inconvenience, and we’d like to apologise to anyone who will be affected. Thank you in advance to everyone for their patience and understanding”.
