Draycote Water

Draycote Water is a 240-hectare reservoir and country park that draws its water from River Leam which then supplies drinking water to Rugby and Coventry. Draycote Water has everything you need for a great day out, with plenty of activities and things to do.

Our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system captures vehicle registration numbers on entry to the Draycote Water Car Park.

Paying for parking

Pay before you leave: Pay when you're ready to leave by entering your vehicle registration number at the payment terminal or online.

Pay later: Pay online or via the Trust app with in 24 hours of leaving.

Card, contactless and cash payments accepted

  • 2 hours: £3:50
  • 2 - 4 hours: £5.50  
  • All day: £7
  • Motorbikes: £2 (all day)

Parking charges apply for blue badge holders.

Just making a quick stop? You have 15 minutes free parking from when you arrive on site, so if you want to pop into the shop or drop something off, you won't need to worry about parking charges. Be sure to check your arrival time though, as once the 15 minutes are up, you'll need to pay for two hours.

Draycote Water has a smooth surfaced path that's suitable for pushchair and wheelchair access.

A changing place is available on site, located next to the country park. The changing place is available during car park opening times. The door requires a RADAR key to open.

Dogs are not allowed around the reservoir (except guide dogs). Please use the Country Park and Hensborough Trail.
